Leidos Enterprise & Cyber Solutions Defense team is seeking a Documentation Specialist with graphics experience. You will play a pivotal role in creating, editing, and maintaining a variety of documents, manuals, guides, and online content. Your primary responsibility will be to transform technical information into user-friendly materials by incorporating graphics, illustrations, and visual elements. Your work will be instrumental in enhancing our customers' understanding and satisfaction with our products/services. All of your work will be performed on customer site in Ft Huachuca, AZ and U.S. Citizenship is required and interim Secret clearance to begin work on the program.
Salary: 70,000.00
In this role you will:
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams to gather and understand technical information.
Create and update user manuals, product guides, and technical documentation.
Design and incorporate graphics, illustrations, infographics, and other visual elements to enhance document clarity and user engagement.
Ensure all documentation complies with U.S. Army regulations and maintains a consistent look and feel.
Proofread, edit, and format documents for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Organize and maintain document repositories, version control, and access permissions.
Convert technical documentation into various formats (e.g., PDF, HTML, online help systems).
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices for documentation and graphic design.
Assist in documenting and standardizing internal processes and procedures.
These qualifications are required:
HS diploma 6 years', or AA/AS 4 years' or BA/BS 2 years' experience at minimum.
Current Secret clearance.
Experience in Technical Writing, Communications, and Graphic Design.
Proven experience as a Documentation Specialist or Technical Writer
Proficiency in graphic design software.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly through visuals and text.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with documentation best practices, including Army standard formats.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with SMEs and stakeholders.
Experience with version control systems and document management tools is a plus.
