Job Summary

As a Collections Specialist, you will be involved in donor screening, customer service, and whole blood collection. Your responsibilities will include assessing and documenting the vitals of presenting donors to determine eligibility, performing blood collection (phlebotomy), and providing excellent customer service and pre/post-donation care as needed. You'll work alongside other collection specialists and attend regular staff meetings and trainings.

This position's protocol is documented and taught using inclusive and recurring training sessions. While not required, specialized training beyond high school, such as phlebotomy, nursing assistant, medical assistant, or EMT work, will make you an ideal candidate for this role.

We are seeking a Collections Specialist who is organized, steady under pressure, and capable of being flexible regarding varying shifts and work locations (i.e., working at fixed donor center locations and various community sites via mobile blood drives, etc.)
