Donor Research Coordinator identifies potential donors and evaluates their interests and capacity to give to the organization. Conducts research and prospecting to locate individuals aligning with the organization's values and mission. Being a Donor Research Coordinator analyzes data for trends and creates donor profiles to assist with donor development, stewardship, and direct communications and fundraising strategy. Uses a database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports. Additionally, Donor Research Coordinator maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Donor Research Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Donor Center Coordinator. The Donor Center Coordinator is responsible for the triage/screening and evaluating potential organ, tissue, and eye donors by obtaining medical and social history, and by working with hospital partners, coroners, processors, donor families, and other relevant agencies to facilitate donation. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring that all donors and potential donor families are offered the opportunity of tissue and eye donation. Additional responsibilities may include assisting in the training of staff and maintaining accurate donor center information. The Donor Center is a 24 hour per day operation, 365 days per year.
