RGS Products Inc. is a family-owned, growing architectural railing and metals company in Northwest Pennsylvania.Please note: This is not a remote position. Drafters will be expected to work in the office everyday.
Average works hours are from 8:00A-5:00P, with OT as needed. Compensation is determined by skill & experience.

We look forward to hearing from you!The Drafter/Detailer is responsible for the preparation of design documents and drawings during the execution of construction projects. This position will produce architectural drawings including plans, sections and details along with bills of material.
Required Skills/Abilities:- Proficient with AutoCAD, required.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam or similar.
- Knowledge of Revit a plus.
- Efficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Efficient interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Efficient organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Efficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Design Drafting, Engineering or related field.
- At least two years of AutoCAD experience required.
- At least two years related experience required.
Physical Requirements:- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate areas of construction sites.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Uses computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create full-scale and detailed designs from an architects rough drawings.
- Analyzes building codes and regulations to determine how they will affect architectural designs.
- Draws and details plans based on instructions provided by engineers and architects.
- Occasionally visit job sites to gather data and measurements needed to complete designs.
- Determines the types of materials needed for the project and calculates the quantity to be ordered.
- Assures work completed is accurate and within project deadlines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
