Fabtek is looking to hire an experienced draftsperson with SolidWorks experience. The position is immediately available.

Fabtek has an early work schedule that allows for open afternoons and better commuting hours; we work Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. We offer a rewarding job environment, paid holidays, and health care benefits. We are in Arlington, WA – near the Arlington Airport.

Fabtek is looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who can handle the complexities of custom work. We need workers who can commit to consistently coming to a job on time with a positive attitude; ready to contribute to the overall culture and quality of our growing company.

Specifically, we are looking for a skilled draftsperson with a minimum of 4 years prior experience. Ideal candidates would also have cross-trained experience in purchasing, production control, quality control and/or scheduling.

Supervisor:

• Reports to Engineering Manager

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• SolidWorks experience, ideally 4 years
• Disciplined, self-motivated and organized
• Punctual, professional ethics and positive attitude
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Basic tape measure and math skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Frequent sitting and computer usage
• Occasional walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling and reaching

Responsibilities:

• Seek exceptional drafting detail and timely completion of work
• Foster good communication among fellow co-workers
• Keep clean, organized work area
• Accurately track labor time sheets and material records
