Drafting Supervisor supervises a team within an organization's computer-aided design (CAD) department. Plans, assigns, and reviews the work of drafters and other employees working on design projects. Being a Drafting Supervisor ensures deadlines, goals, and production standards for the department are met. Analyzes data and reviews drawings/plans to ensure quality of work and project feasibility. Additionally, Drafting Supervisor reviews project results and makes recommendations for improvement. Provides CAD technical support and develops solutions. Uses knowledge of the field to keep the department's software, techniques, and tools up to date. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Drafting Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Drafting Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. 10 month, 8 hour per day position
Position Summary:
Provides leadership in an educational environment that encourages and nurtures learning for all students, under the direction and supervision of the principal. The Teacher performs a broad range of teaching services or specific learning programs, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed as a foundation for learning. The Teacher must develop, select and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of each student’s ability. Additionally, the Teacher is responsible for maintaining appropriate records and following the required procedures and practices of Henderson County Public Schools.
Qualification and Special Requirements:
If applicant does not currently hold a NC Teacher's license, then applicant must be willing to obtain one through Residency Licensure or Restricted CTE Licensure, which entails educational coursework requirements.
Residency Licensure: Bachelor's degree in related area; 2.7 GPA minimum. Must enroll in a CTE Trade/Industry Education program to complete requirements for Teacher Licensure.
CTE Restricted Licensure requires documented relevant work experience. Applicants may qualify with a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in related area, or High School diploma.
