Job Description

Impact You'll Make

As a Warehouse Leader, you'll help cultivate a strategy to create and maintain a first-class employee experience focusing on talent development, including employee engagement, staffing, retention, learning, and training. This program offers a curated experience with significant exposure to senior leadership, paid relocation, a structured onboarding process, work on special projects and the ability to grow your career with us.

You will establish yourself as an engaging and inclusive leader to maximize productivity, growth, and development. You will create and lead strategy around operational activities to achieve P&L goals, providing the highest possible service to our customer base, ensuring compliance with corporate policies/government regulations, and providing a work environment conducive to superior productivity, safety, and quality.

The Program Includes:

• Rotation to various Distribution Centers to expose you to different experiences - Over 6-18 months, prepare to become Director of Operations of your own facility

You Will Contribute By:

• Working in different distribution centers and environments with curated experiences to prepare you for a role as Director of Operations within one of our sites.
• Evaluating the performance and potential of all distribution center functions, addressing performance gaps, and opportunities to optimize performance, taking corrective action to ensure delivery against operating objectives.
• Developing and implementing comprehensive business plans to achieve facility goals, including safety, and maintenance. Identifying opportunities for strategic enhancements in complex operations.
• Promoting and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Training others in their use and application, and compliance. - Evaluating ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives to ensure business needs are met. Consulting with business partners and other key stakeholders. Soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Managing financial aspects for a facility by approving and tracking expe nses against budgets. Monitoring asset utilization and preparing, reviewing, and analyzin g business reports. - Resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns by investigating and making fact-based decisions or consulting with others.
• Driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects. Identifying customer and operational needs, communicating priorities, removing barriers and obstacles, providing resources, setting performance standards, measuring progress, and adjusting accordingly. Demonstrate adaptability and support continuous learning.
• Working on projects overseeing adopting and using improved processes, new assets, and new facilities.
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for team members and visitors, following company policies and health and safety regulations.
• Assisting in developing individual and team performance expectations to achieve company objectives by setting goals, monitoring performance and providing feedback.
• Supporting succession planning, team building, and engagement activities by identifying training and development needs, and providing learning and growth opportunities.
• Oversight of hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates to deliver unparalleled service.

Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in a leadership role in supply chain management, distribution, transportation, logistics, and/or retail operations
• Experienced in financial planning (P&L), budgets and possess the ability to get results to achieve growth and reduce costs, plus a complete understanding of audit procedures
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment - Proficiency with any Warehouse Management Systems (i:e Blue Yonder, SAP, Infor, Manhattan)

• Goal-oriented with a track record of exceeding targets
• Excellent time management and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to coordinate activities effectively in complex situations
• Skilled in conflict resolution and facilitating cooperative solutions
• Ability to drive significant, strategic projects to completion independently
• Ability to partner with all levels of management in a cross-functional team environment - Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree and/or Equivalent Work Experience
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Business, or Finance preferred
