The Opportunity 

The Operations Supervisor is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse activities to include overseeing the production processes of our repackaging and bundling lines. The successful candidate will oversee various operational aspects, including production, inventory management, shipping & receiving, warehouse safety, and staff supervision. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, the Operations Supervisor will drive our operation to meet and exceed productivity and performance targets. 

Responsibilities

Lean Six Sigma and Operational Excellence:  

• Participate in Lean Six Sigma initiatives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the production process. 
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and minimize waste. 

Operations

• Team Management and Development: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative team environment to achieve operational goals.  
• Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring procedures are performed efficiently and within quality standards. 
• Production Oversight: Manage daily operations on the Production Lines, aligning with the production schedule to meet targets. 
• Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control procedures to meet customer specifications. 
• Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate operations, including shipping and receiving goods, to ensure timely delivery and optimal logistics cost management. 
• Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and adequacy while minimizing excess. Implement and oversee regular stock audits and reconciliations. 
• Performance Monitoring: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. 
• Warehouse Space Optimization: Organize and manage warehouse space to optimize storage efficiency and accessibility for production needs. 
• Warehouse Management Software: Utilize warehouse / inventory management systems to track inventory levels, shipments, and storage capacity. 
• Equipment and Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and addressing any issues promptly. 

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all company policies and regulations. 

Safety & Training 

• Strictly adhere to all safety and health regulations and coach team members on job responsibilities. 
• Foster a clean and safe working environment. 

Qualifications

• Previous Proven experience in warehouse or distribution center management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. 
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics. 
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements in a warehouse environment. 
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team. 
• Knowledge of routine and preventative maintenance procedures. 
• Understanding of performance metrics and the ability to track and report them accurately. 
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting stringent deadlines. 
• Strict adherence to all health and safety regulations. 

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. 
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma, logistics, or supply chain management is a plus.
