Drug & Alcohol Counselor jobs in Hopkinsville, KY

Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical counseling and behavioral therapy to individuals and groups
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address mental health issues
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and coding
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality
- Advocate for clients' rights and provide support during crisis situations
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of counseling

(1) part time TEAP Counselor’s for an average of thirteen (13) hours per week, and 48 weeks per year.

Requirements:
- . Individuals applying should have CADC (Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor) and experience with drug and alcohol counseling of young adults aged 16-24.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a counselor or therapist
- Experience in providing clinical counseling and behavioral health services
- Knowledge of child and family counseling techniques and interventions
- Proficiency in conducting psychotherapy sessions and implementing behavioral therapy strategies
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines for mental health professionals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.78 - $29.83 per hour
