Drywall Installer plans, installs, and repairs drywalls to cover walls, ceilings, soffits, shafts, and movable partitions in residential and commercial areas. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Drywall Installer may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Drywall Installer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The ideal candidate is a hard worker, dependable, and is safety-conscious. This position requires working in all types of weather, and the right candidate needs to have experience working with various tools. We do contracts for the government and we always have different kinds of jobs going on so you will need to be adaptable. Most of our projects are on Dyess Air Force Base, so you will need to be able to get a base pass.
