Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying and finishing drywall to create a smooth and seamless surface. Your attention to detail and expertise in drywall finishing techniques will contribute to the overall quality of our construction projects. Responsibilities: - Prepare surfaces by removing old drywall, repairing any damage, and ensuring proper insulation - Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications - Apply joint compound and tape to seams, corners, and nail/screw indentations - Smooth and feather out compound to create a seamless finish - Sand surfaces to achieve a smooth texture - Repair any imperfections or inconsistencies in the drywall surface - Apply texture or decorative finishes as required - Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in the drywall finishing process Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role - Solid knowledge of drywall installation and finishing techniques - Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, sanders, and knives - Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications - Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship - Excellent problem-solving skills - Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time Skills: The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following skills: - Fixture installation - Water damage restoration - Construction estimating - Stucco application - Caulking techniques - Frame carpentry - Remodeling experience - Airless paint spraying - Tile laying skills - Construction painting expertise We offer competitive pay rates based on experience. Pay: $17.14 - $22.58 per hour
