Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, fit, and fasten panels of drywall to the framework of interior walls and ceilings.
• Read blueprints and designs to determine materials requirements and installation processes.
• Collaborate with other tradesmen and construction team members to ensure seamless project execution.
• Inspect drywall panels for any defects and make necessary repairs or replacements.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet construction timelines and project goals.
• Prepare and clean work areas before and after jobs.
• Be willing to travel to various job sites around Michigan as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Drywall Hanger or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficient in using tools and equipment necessary for drywall installation.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in construction is a plus.
