Fashion/E-commerce assistant

I am looking to hire preferably a young, savvy fashion forward individual that can help a new e- commerce brand grow. We are look for an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. As Fashion/E-commerce assistant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. Looking for somebody that come in a couple of days in the week until the business is fully set-up.

The goal of SARIMA creation is to design and sell products that resonates with the culture and heritage of different countries. This earns SARIMA Creations the unique status as the One-Stop online fashion store that provides clients a taste of fashion from all over the world.

What I am looking for:

• Someone that has experience in marketplaces like shopify, Instagram, eBay, Facebook, Amazon, Posh mark and other similar e commerce platforms
• Someone to assist with product shoots, product description, flat lays, minor photo editing, (photoshoot/illustrator knowledge is a plus)
• Someone that is organized and dependable
• Someone that wants to be part of a new budding and fun, startup
• Someone that is positive and willing to roll their sleeve to grow the SARIMA brand

Your job:

• Merchandising: Updating and adding new product listings - which includes photos, product description and inventory control
• Fulfillment: picking and packing orders, either for social media influencers or online customers
• Social Media: create content for selling platforms, flat lays, product shots, banner ads
• Creative: Assisting on set for photo shoots, editorial shoots, etc.
• Being flexible: in general, assisting a new fashion brand. There are many things to do and there is a small team so you may get your hands in a lot of things
• Product Development: your opinion matter - be a part of developing new products
• Operations: as part of the team, you will help assist the owner in day-to-day needs
• All duties above will be taught so do not be afraid if you don’t check all the boxes!

Qualifications:

• Open to students that want to intern to build their portfolios
• college degree is preferred (fashion school experience is a plus!)
• experience in fashion or e-commerce is preferred A solid eye for good design and trend
• Experience in photography, photoshop and web design are welcomed
• Great customer service
• Experience in fashion retail or consumer brand preferred
• Experience in E-commerce is preferred
• proficient with Microsoft suites, social media, and technology in general.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, unpaid Internship, Contract. Great for someone looking to build their portfolio and experience

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
