We are looking for a dynamic and experienced E-Commerce & Retail Operations Consultant to help us optimize our online and in-store retail operations, grow our merchandise revenue, and streamline our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing e-commerce platforms, integrating retail POS systems, and driving sales through data-driven marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• E-Commerce Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of our Shopify store, including inventory control, site optimization, and product launches.
• Retail Operations: Manage the integration between Lightspeed POS and Shopify to ensure seamless inventory and sales tracking across in-store and online channels.
• Digital Marketing: Lead performance marketing initiatives (SEO, paid social, email campaigns) to drive online sales and enhance brand visibility.
• Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies, including seasonal collections, bundles, and limited-edition launches.
• Customer Experience: Enhance the customer journey both online and in-store, ensuring a consistent and engaging experience. Implement loyalty programs, cross-selling, and upselling strategies.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to optimize product offerings, pricing, and marketing efforts.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Trixie Motel team to align retail strategies with the overall brand vision and goals.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in managing e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
• Experience integrating and managing retail POS systems, especially Lightspeed, is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including paid ads, SEO, email marketing, and social media.
• Familiarity with inventory management, product development, and merchandising.
• Data-driven with strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and optimize operations.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from concept to execution.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams.

Project Deliverables (Initial Focus)

1. System Integration: Implement seamless integration between Shopify and Lightspeed, improving inventory management and order fulfillment.
2. Marketing Campaigns: Develop and launch digital marketing campaigns aimed at increasing online traffic and driving sales growth.
3. Product Optimization: Analyze in-store and online sales data to optimize product offerings, launch bundles, and seasonal collections.
4. Customer Experience Enhancements: Implement loyalty programs and customer engagement strategies to increase repeat business and average order value.

Contract Terms

• Location: Los Angeles, CA, or within driving distance to Palm Springs, CA, is preferred for onsite work.
• Duration: 3-6 months consultancy, with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role based on performance.
• Hours: Flexible hours, with the possibility of regular onsite work in Palm Springs, CA and our Los Angeles office.
