Economist (Corporate) conducts research and analysis on economic data/trends and produces forecasts, interpretive reporting, and media used for risk assessment, communication, and decision making. Collects economic data from established datasets and other sources utilizing data collection and data science protocols. Being an Economist (Corporate) utilizes statistical analysis, mathematical methodologies, and modeling techniques to develop data. Designs and organizes data into unique report models and graphical illustrations to present economic information used for decision making and solution development. Additionally, Economist (Corporate) requires a bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Economist (Corporate) occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Procurement Analyst

    Responsibilities

    • Collects, organizes and analyzes large sets of purchasing data from a variety of input sources.
    • Conducts market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, market trends and cost-saving opportunities.
    • Prepares reports and presentations to communicate findings to management.
    • Prepares and analyzes RFx documents (Requests for Proposals, Quotes, etc.).
    • Supports supplier relationship management activities including preparation for cadence meetings and business reviews
    • Assist/Lead project management of roll out/implementation of key strategic purchasing programs/contracts across Freudenberg North America sites
    • Leads implementation of IT purchasing systems such as internal spend portal, electronic supplier catalogues, spend collection & analytics tools.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, General Business or related field
    • 0-3 years of experience in procurement or Supply Chain Management function
    • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Excels in a fast-paced, intense learning environment.
    • Proficiency in or ability to quickly learn Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
    • Ability to travel 10% of the time to visit Freudenberg sites and suppliers.
