You support our team as
Responsibilities
- Collects, organizes and analyzes large sets of purchasing data from a variety of input sources.
- Conducts market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, market trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepares reports and presentations to communicate findings to management.
- Prepares and analyzes RFx documents (Requests for Proposals, Quotes, etc.).
- Supports supplier relationship management activities including preparation for cadence meetings and business reviews
- Assist/Lead project management of roll out/implementation of key strategic purchasing programs/contracts across Freudenberg North America sites
- Leads implementation of IT purchasing systems such as internal spend portal, electronic supplier catalogues, spend collection & analytics tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, General Business or related field
- 0-3 years of experience in procurement or Supply Chain Management function
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excels in a fast-paced, intense learning environment.
- Proficiency in or ability to quickly learn Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ability to travel 10% of the time to visit Freudenberg sites and suppliers.
