Position Description: The Supported Employment/Education Specialist (SEES) is a clinically informed and specialized skills training position. They work as part of the ClearPath Early Onset Psychosis Team, which is a coordinated specialty care team that provides services to individuals with mental health challenges who are experiencing the early stages of a primary psychotic disorder. The purpose of Employment and Education Services is to provide training and supports needed to enable individuals to develop the ability and skills to secure and maintain competitive employment independently. The SEES gets to collaborate with team members, families, and community members to support a wraparound care model to promote gainful employment and/or education. This position supports people learning to use skills and strategies to improve adaptive functioning through self-regulation, social skills, and skillful communication and self-advocacy of their wants and needs. The SEES gets to conduct employment outreach in the community to build career options for persons in the ClearPath program.
This position will work with a caseload of 20 to 30 individuals, ranging from 15 to 30 years of age and demonstrates good communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with individuals, families, employers and other community stakeholders. This position is allowed to work a variable schedule, as needed, to meet individuals’ employment and educational needs. This position serves families in Williamson and Burnet counties.
Program Description: The Bluebonnet Trails Community Services (BTCS) ClearPath Program is a coordinated specialty care (CSC) team which has specialized training in early intervention for psychosis. The ClearPath program is dedicated to addressing early symptoms related to psychosis. The goal of the ClearPath Program is to reduce duration of untreated symptoms to improve outcomes such as ability to work, go to school, live independently and have enjoyable relationships. The CSC team consists of a Psychiatrist, Supported Employment/Education Specialist (SEES), Peer Specialist, Skills Trainer, Family Partner, and Therapist.

Salary: $21.46 – $28.71/hr
