Job Description:

At our gas station, we are looking for a friendly, customer-oriented individual to join our team as a gas station sales associate. The ideal candidate will have experience working in customer service, as well as basic knowledge in retail sales. They will be responsible for assisting customers and providing any general information about our products and services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

· Assist customers with purchases, providing information on products and services.

· Check identification to determine customers eligibility for liquor, tobacco, and vape products.

· Operate the cash register, handle customer payments, and provide accurate change.

· Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, keeping the area clean and organized.

· Keep the gas station grounds clean and free of debris, along with emptying trash inside and outside.

· Handle any issues or concerns with customers in a polite and professional manner.

· Prepare, cook, and sell items within the deli area.

· Accurately price and label products as needed.

· Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the manger on duty.

· Follow all company policies and procedures.

· Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.

· Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Must be 21 years of age.

· Reliable transportation.

· High School Diploma or equivalent education.

· Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time, along with bending.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

· Cash-handling experience.

· Willingness to be cross trained within the establishment.

· Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

· Basic math skills and experience with point-of-sale systems.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
