Role and Responsibilities

• Sets short-term goals & objectives and long-term visions for team
• Develops succession plans & growth opportunities for team
• Balances priorities within organization
• Ensures teams are appropriately resourced (people & $)
• Provides technical leadership
• Technical interface to project/customers
• Works with program management to develop & sell product line strategic vision
• Ensures Systems organization meets commitments to program management/business
• Ensures projects are executed in compliance with GE policies & procedures

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 8 years of technical leadership experience

Desired Characteristics

• Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
• Prior experience with a focus on managing technical programs and designing and developing new products related to solving product issues
• Prior experience with New Product Development (NPI) process
• Prior experience with Lean management system
• Strong coaching expertise and success in working across the business functions, other GE businesses, and the global teams
• Strong business acumen
• Strong customer mindset
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

The base pay range for this position is $142,100-237,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on April 1, 2024.
