Responsibilities

Manages the financial and operational activities of the Customer Charged service program, fitting & meter service departments. Ensures the proper execution and completion of all gas emergencies and customer-facing work. Provides statistical data needed for PURA reporting and financial reporting. Develops and implements programs and procedures that ensure the safe and reliable delivery of natural gas from the meter to the burner tip.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages the execution and administration of all customer-facing work including all budgeting, financial, and PURA reporting of all customer services department activities.
Establishes and administers procedures designed to improve departmental operations such as productivity, internal policies, and customer satisfaction objectives.
Provides departmental training as well as arranges for both internal and external training of others relating to the safe delivery of natural gas.
Administers and supports departmental computer and communication systems by implementing, developing, procuring, and enhancing the technological abilities and resources of the department.
Develops, negotiates, and promotes a positive relationship with the union representatives.
Participates in various utility and trade associations to ensure that the company is providing for the safe delivery of natural gas and our service offerings meet the needs of both the company and the customer.

Skills and Requirements

Education:

BS/BA Degree Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business field or equivalent

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the natural gas industry focused on customer interactions, gas utilization equipment repair, and the safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to customers. Previous supervisory/management experience required. Must have an operational knowledge of all gas utilization equipment and both state and federal codes. Must be a proven leader with strong managerial skills as well as analytical, administrative, and decision-
making abilities. Must be available 24/7.
