Electrical Controls Engineer jobs in Boca Raton, FL
Electrical Controls Engineer designs, develops, and supervises all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. May be responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC based hardware and software. Being an Electrical Controls Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electrical Controls Engineer relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. We are currently seeking Apprentice Controls Electricians to join our team. The successful candidates must be self-motivated, hard working and able to work well with others in a team environment. We are looking for individuals who are able to follow instructions and who have the ability to take direction. Indivduals Must have transportation to and from work and be able to pass a background check. SSI does have projects ongoing in the Caribbean, so being able to travel is a plus. Attendance in online apprenticeship training is mandatory weekly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
