Desirable • Masters of Science in Electronic Engineering Qualifications Essential • A demonstrated understanding and application of vector control, field oriented control, and sensor-less software algorithms for Surface Permanent Magnet (SPM) and Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) Brushless synchronous motors. • Experience in power electronics products; inverters, dc-dc converters and switching power supplies • Working knowledge in the design of conditioning and sensing circuitry for adjustable speed drives • Proficient in developing embedded code in C and assembly • Experienced in SCR, TRIAC, IGBT and MOSFET technology • Working knowledge of gate driver circuits for IGBTs, MOSFETs and fly-back power converter topologies • Experience working with voltage levels, protection, and component selections up to 480Vac • Familiar with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators, power supplies and other standard EE lab equipment. • Possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for the repair of digital circuits and analog circuits to component levels Job Description - Page 3/3 • Must be self-motivated, organized, capable of working independently and as a team to solve engineering problems in a logical and efficient manner. • Work on the requirements and test required for completing agency approval certification (example: UL, CE) Desirable • Experience configuring and working with development environments, JTAG and debugging tools.
