Electrical Designer designs and develops layouts for electrical circuits or systems for power distribution. Assists in the production of detailed schematics. Being an Electrical Designer requires basic knowledge of electrical equipment and local building codes. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Electrical Designer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Electrical Designer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Seeking an Electrical Engineering Specialist to perform a range of activities including electrical schematic drafting and harness design across various industries.
Requirements:- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 4-year degree preferred, 2-year degree considered.
- Proficiency in creating schematics with AutoCAD Electrical software is strongly preferred.
- Experience in electrical engineering activities related to controls engineering or wire harness development is a plus.
- Familiarity with harness routing software (e.g., Zuken E3, Capital Harness, CREO cabling, NX routing, Inventor routing) is advantageous.
- Develop and draft electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Design and route electrical harnesses for a variety of applications.
- Apply electrical engineering principles to solve practical problems in various industries.
- Work on controls engineering for automated equipment and/or automotive/mobile equipment electrical systems.
- Utilize harness routing software to optimize designs.
Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
