Shelby Electrical is a reputable and well established licensed electrical contractor in Brooklyn, seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager. Responsibilities:

• Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects.
• Documentation: Maintain project records, contracts, and documentation.
• Scheduling: Assist in project scheduling, ensuring timelines are met.
• Budgeting: Support budget management and cost control efforts.
• Communication: Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Quality Control: Help maintain high-quality work standards and safety protocols.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address project-related issues in a timely manner.
• Teamwork: Work closely with project management teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical project management or related field is a plus.
• A Four-year degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Construction is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Field-wire, Autodesk Build etc.) is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to review, overlay, and compare drawings.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Computer Aided Drawing (i.e., AutoCAD, Revit)
• Attend weekly project meetings as requested by Project Manager, keeping detailed records and track meeting minutes.
• Manage logs and ensure all Submittals, Change Orders, Estimates are processed promptly.
• Strong background in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
