Easy Automation Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our team as our Electrical Engineering Manager. This position will work closely with the Controls and Sales Teams, as well as the Panel Production Team to deliver high-quality electrical solutions for our customers. This role includes responsibilities of coaching, mentoring, and providing technical expertise for complex projects for staff within our Electrical Engineering department.
Job Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the timely production of schematics and electrical drawings for EAI’s UL508A’s Panel Shop, as well as the examination and confirmation of new components and processes for EAI’s continued success.
Work primarily with AutoCAD Electrical software to create schematics and panel layouts to meet our customer needs and requests.
Provide technical evaluation, guidance, and supervision of product development and output.
Direct and guide members of the Engineering Team and setting departmental priorities based off larger company goals.
Manage the Electrical Engineering staff and provide them with insight, support, and feedback to improve the team’s performance including annual reviews, performance reviews and any other essential meetings.
Determine appropriate equipment needed for UL508A rated control panels.
Travel between office locations for given training and meetings, as necessary or assigned.
Additional duties and roles as needed.
Job Requirements:
A Two- or Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent electrical education/experience.
Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical or similar software.
Proven track record of knowledge in the electrical and controls engineering field
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
Previous management or supervisory experience is preferred.
Possess a valid Manufacturer Technical Representative (MTR) certification or willing to obtain.

This position has the opportunity to be based out of our Welcome, Mankato, or Chanhassen, MN offices, with the opportunity to work hybrid after a training period or based on level of experience/knowledge. Occasional travel between the office locations may be required during the training period.
