The DGR Engineering Electrical Power Department in Rock Rapids, Iowa specializes in the planning and design of infrastructure improvements for electrical power utilities in the upper Midwest.

Typical projects include power generation, substation, transmission and distribution systems design and construction management.

Qualifications

We are seeking an energetic Electrical Engineer with a BSEE or MSEE degree for a design engineering role.

The ideal candidate will have EI or PE certification and familiarity with electrical power systems.

Candidate will also possess skills to work independently to perform:

• Electrical systems analysis
  
• Produce project construction designs, drawings, schematics, specifications, cost estimates and related engineering materials

• A working knowledge of
  • AutoCAD
  • GIS
  • Microsoft Office
  • Related software
    
• Applicant must possess good communication skills
  
• The ability to work with a wide variety of clients
