Position Summary: Position Summary: The HSE Technician will play an important role in supporting the company’s health, safety, and environmental programs in the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform field HSE observations.
• Perform HSE field audits.
• Perform incident reporting.
• Perform investigation and root cause analysis for safety incidents.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly HSE meetings with field teams as required.
• Perform effective HSE coaching development for new hires.
• Perform HSE training to reinforce HSE requirements.
• Ensure all HSE programs are executed at all assigned sites.
• Collaborate with field supervisors and managers to ensure HSE programs are executed, and that all are held accountable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the company.

Education and Professional Licensing or Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• H2S certification.
• First aid and CPR certified trainer.
• OSHA 300 or 510 certifications preferred.
• HSE training with TEEX or other safety training provider preferred.
• Certified Utility Safety Professional preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems required.
• Knowledge of electrical PPE requirements.
• Energized work awareness knowledge.
• Strong work ethic.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Attention to detail and able to follow procedures.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Able to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Physical Requirements

• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, climbing, working in confined spaces, and standing for long periods, and in various outdoor and environmental conditions.

Pay will be based upon experience.
