Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer installs, repairs, and maintains powerline equipment. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. -Plan layout and installation of wiring, equipment, or fixtures to provided specifications
-Assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring and equipment using hands and power tools
-Test and trouble shoot electrical components and controls related to motors and brakes
-Engage in cross training in other plant areas
-Test electrical components and systems for continuity
