Being an Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Schedule: Monday-Friday (alternating schedule)- 7:00am-5:30pm

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (DESCRIPTION):
In this position, you will perform specialized skilled work in tree pruning, removal, planting and right of way clearing in order to maintain adequate clearance for the safe operation of the Town's electric distribution system.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED (MINIMUM MUST-HAVES):
Graduation from High School supplemented with coursework in urban forestry, horticulture,
arboricultural and experience with tree trimming around power lines; or an equivalent
combination of experience and education.
