Electromechanical Technician fabricates, tests, analyzes, and adjusts precision electromechanical instruments. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Electromechanical Technician may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electromechanical Technician relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. This position within the department is responsible for design and development of electrical and electromechanical products in the Viking portfolio, assisting other engineers from an electrical / electromechanical perspective and working together with our global team to grow the Viking electrical offerings.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Additional education or experience in Mechanical Engineering.
CAD experience.
Minimum 5 years experience in Electrical Engineering related field.
Proven leadership of product integrations or launching of projects.
Proactive problem solving ability, including thinking objectively through various options and scenarios using sound engineering judgement.
