Electronic Technician jobs in Alexandria, LA

A well-established manufacturing company in the Farmingdale, NY area is looking for a full-time Test Technician. NY Relocation costs of $10k plus $10k sign-on bonus for right candidate.

Company willing to assist employees in finding housing.

Pay : $24-$28 / hr Annual bonuses of $3k-$5k based on KPIs and personal targets.

Qualifications

• Testing of assembled spectrometer units.
• Knowledge of using test application software’s
• Microsoft office utilities, power supplies, light sources, test equipments including multimeters, oscilloscope, function generators etc.
• Team communication desired for achieving weekly production demands.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operating and testing of OEM optics products using opto-mechanical, electronic hardware and software tools.
• Validating quality control tests for optical products.
• Assistance to Manufacturing group.
• Assistance to Service Department including trouble shooting OEM products.
• Technical school back ground required.
• Knowledge of handling optics, electronics and mechanical parts.
• Ability to read and follow test instructions for OEM products.
• Ability to use hand tools for assembly and soldering irons.
• Sufficient PC knowledge, hardware and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Most important a willingness to be a team player.
