Position Summary:
Test, troubleshoot to component level, repair, and inspect electromechanical subassemblies and analog and digital electronic PCBAs to support camera manufacturing. Maintain all test and process equipment used in department.
Specific Duties:
- Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and PCBAs to established test procedures.
- Complete associated Test Data Sheets and database entries for work performed.
- Debug and repair electronics subassemblies and PCBAs to the component level.
- Responsible for quality control. Inspect your own work, inspect work coming to you.
- Provide assistance and/or resources to help other team members or departments to solve technical problems
Education and Qualification:
- 5-10 years electronic test/troubleshooting to component level experience
- Solder skills capable to IPC-A-610
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies, and Computer systems including both software and hardware
- Capable of reading, understanding, and troubleshooting using a schematic, wire diagram, and function block diagram
- Experience in the use of various electronics test equipment
- Trained in Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Understanding of good ESD practices
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Communicates openly and effectively in a professional manner.
- Ability to perform technical reading, writing, and math functions
- Strong PC knowledge
