Position Overview:
The Electronics Assembler performs any combination of routine functions to assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products or systems. Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures, rules and regulations. This position requires attention to detail and a focus on producing defect-free product for our customers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panel.
- Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, and/or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
- Uses hand tools, power tools machines or other equipment to perform work.
- May perform assembly operations under microscope or another magnifying device.
- Inspects own work to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Conducts quality checks periodically.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness by meeting all productivity and quality objectives.
- Communicates with team and support staff to ensure continuous production at high quality levels.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all IEC procedures, rules and regulations.
Certification, Licensures, or Registration required to qualify for this position
- Support and maintain all 6S workplace organization standards.
