Elevator Inspector inspects, adjusts, and maintains installed freight and passenger elevators and escalators to meet specifications and safety codes. May recommend repairs. Being an Elevator Inspector requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Elevator Inspector is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.   • Seeking a qualified and experienced Overhead Crane Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crane inspection, maintenance, and safety procedures. As an Overhead Crane Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all overhead cranes are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct regular inspections of overhead cranes to ensure they are in safe working condition
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes as needed
    • Document all inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with company policies and procedures
    • Identify and report any safety hazards or issues related to overhead cranes
    • Communicate effectively with management and other team members regarding the status of overhead cranes
    • Stay current on industry standards and regulations related to overhead cranes

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Certification as a Crane Inspector preferred (CMAA or equivalent)
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in overhead crane inspection and maintenance
    • Strong knowledge of overhead crane safety standards and regulations via OSHA along with 29 CFR 1910.179
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed
    • Must be able to be granted access to federal facilities via escorted access and/or unescorted access.
