Co-Staff has a client in need of SEVERAL outdoor General Labor / Grain Elevator Laborers for their location in Union Grove! We are currently seeking general laborers to work as part of their fall Grain Elevator Operation. This entails loading and unloading railcars and tankers, and other general labor duties throughout the property!

Shift(s): Day Shift: 7AM-4PM but hours will vary based on need. Frequent overtime and 50-70 hour weeks during season, including weekends!

Job Duties:

• Employee(s) will be responsible for working outdoors unloading trucks and railcars that have passed through the scale.
• Operation of equipment such as augers, skid loaders, hoses and forklift will be required.
• Labor intensive duties such as shoveling and performing material handling duties will be common.
• Work is performed outside primarily and also will require employee to get inside grain bins.

Qualifications:

• Must be physically fit and able to shovel, lift, bend, kneel, squat and be on your feet throughout a 12 hour shift.
• Lifting requirement set at 50lbs and it will be repetitive at times.
• Valid Driver's License
• Willingness to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.
• Experience operating equipment such as skid loaders and forklifts is preferred, but not required.
• Able and willing to work all overtime. (It will get extremely busy during harvest season and overtime is always mandatory.)
• Positive attitude and good customer service skills.
• Willingness to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
