Diesel Technician – Baileyville Shop

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for maintaining and servicing agricultural equipment. The position responsibilities include maintenance work in a shop environment as well as service in the field.

Duties include:

• Field service work and service calls• General fleet maintenance• Repairs on a variety of equipment• Test driving vehicles and equipment• Properly fill out work orders and parts forms• Adherence to company safety protocols• Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision on assigned projects• Extended work hours during busy seasons when needed• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have valid driver’s license• Must have ability to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements• Experience with Class 8 trucks• Experience with Ag equipment is preferred, but not necessary• Must be willing to learn to advance career• Electrical troubleshooting and use of diagnostic equipment preferred• Aftertreatment experience preferred, but not required• Must have own tools• Some lifting may be required – ability to lift 50 pounds
