For many individuals with limited mobility, the home environment can present numerous challenges and obstacles. Simple tasks such as answering the phone, adjusting lighting, or welcoming guests can become challenging without external assistance. To promote maximum independence in the least restrictive way possible, MobilityWorks has developed a comprehensive home access product line, offering a wide array of solutions for home accessibility.
EXPERIENCE
Background in similar industries: HVAC, Residential Construction/Remodeling, Electrician, Overhead Doors, Alarm Systems, Telecommunication Equipment
Here's what you'll be accomplishing in this role:
- Lead installer for a complete line of home accessibility products (stairlifts, modular ramps, vertical platform lifts, ceiling lifts, pool lifts, and automatic door openers).
- Mentor Home Access Technicians in an assigned Region.
- Perform Annual Preventive Maintenance Service
- Conduct repairs of accessibility products in customers’ homes.
- Read and complete tasks as communicated through written service orders.
- Maintain and accurately account for service parts inventory.
- Ensure company vehicles and equipment are operated safely and maintained in good working order.
- Ensure high level of quality in adherence to company standards.
- Travel a set region to install equipment that requires certifications.
Here are the qualifications and skills we're looking for:
- High school diploma or GED Required
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Able to work flexible hours during the work week and occasional out-of-town work
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Possess electrical and mechanical experience
- Elevator Certification CET and active
