Communicates details of situation and location. Additionally, Emergency Dispatcher enters unit response details into a database. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Emergency Dispatcher works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. We are a busy Towing and Auto Repair business looking for qualified and experienced dispatcher(s) who are familiar with the City of Corona and surrounding Inland Empire communities. This is not a "trucking or logistics" dispatch position! Knowledge of AAA's latest dispatch program is a must.
Applicants must be responsible, detail oriented, and well organized. Good communication skills along with the ability to multi-task efficiently is critical when call volume spikes. Other tasks include vehicle releases, computer entry, and other office duties.
Full and part time positions are available. Must be able and willing to assist with any shifts. Medical and Vacation Pay are also available. Applicants must pass pre-employment drug screens and criminal background checks to be considered.
