Emergency Services Director directs the staff and programs of the emergency services unit. Develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for emergency service programs. Being an Emergency Services Director ensures quality care for patients. Role does not require M. Additionally, Emergency Services Director d. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Emergency Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Easy Does It Emergency Services (EDI) is a 501c(3) that provides assistance to individuals with disabilities and the elderly living independently in the City of Berkeley. Should a disabled or elderly person experience an unforeseen crisis or a temporary lapse in his or her own regular care, that person can call upon EDI for assistance at the time of need. Our core services include: 24-hour back-up caregiving; Emergency and on demand wheelchair accessible “door-through-door” transportation; Emergency repair of assistive equipment like wheelchairs and walkers; and Resource Coordination – to support and enhance independent living.
