Employee Development Specialist implements and supports programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. Helps to create slates of individuals identified for leadership development activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Employee Development Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Provider Data Maintenance Specialist

  • Responsibilities:

    • Contracting, credentialing and maintaining Facility / Professional provider data to support marketing, network contracting across all lines of business.
    • Supporting the implementation of special projects, assisting with tracking of various phases of a project and managing workflow.
    • Assisting management in familiarizing and training team members with the various business rules in network contracting and credentialing across all lines of business.
    • Identifying gaps in processes and suggesting process improvement strategies.

     

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor degree plus 1 year of experience with Provider Network contracting and credentialing systems OR 5 years of experience in the Health Care industry.
    • Written and verbal communication skills including interpersonal skills. Skills to develop training materials and act as an advisor to staff
    • Experience and proficiency inn Microsoft Office software products including analytical tools. Experience developing reports.

     

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Subject Matter Expert for the Professional Provider Credentialing Process
    • 2 years of experience with current government sponsored health insurance networks
    • Knowledge of health care delivery systems, claim costing analytics, and provider network adequacy analytics
