Employee Health Services Manager is responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Administers healthcare program operations and supervises subordinate staff. Being an Employee Health Services Manager ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. Additionally, Employee Health Services Manager may provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Summary :
The Employee Health Services Administrative Assistant is the central point of communication among patients, providers, and other members of the health care team. Provides registration data entry, clerical and reception functions including answering and routing telephone calls, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, processing medical records requests, filing, billing and any related tasks as delegated by the Manager or Department Director.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Computer skills and knowledge required.
Secretarial experience in an office based physician practice, preferably in Occupational Medicine/Employee Health.
Superior customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and some Medical terminology.
