    The Opportunity:
    The Employee Relations & Recruiting Partner (ERRP) is our onsite Human Resources professional dedicated to attracting, hiring, and retaining the most talented employees who are a culture-fit for the business which will help the team continue to live our values and take care of our customers. The ERRP’s focus is on these three areas:
    Attracting Talent
    • Manage the petition process for all H2B Guest Worker Program Workers.
    • Track all applications, group assignments, arrivals, and departures.
    • Provide a warm welcome and grateful sendoff for all guest workers.
    • Develop and execute local recruiting strategies to fill operational, administrative, and management needs.
    • Partner with HeartLand Human Resources team for recruiting and talent acquisition support.
    Onboarding Talent
    • Develop and coordinate an onboarding program to welcome employees.
    • Work closely with operations team to ensure employees have all the necessary equipment to be successful.
    • Ensure operational compliance when hiring new employees, including correctly setting up personnel record, payroll, I-9 documentation, benefits, driver file, EEOC, etc.
    • Work with employees to ensure all benefit selections are made and submitted timely.
    Developing & Retaining Talent
    • Assist in employee recognition programs, including service awards and recognition for exemplary performance of company values.
    • Seek out and identify training opportunities for employees of all levels.
    • Serve as onsite Safety Champion by coordinating companywide safety initiatives and providing safety training resources.
    • Maintain accurate, confidential HRIS database and files for all personnel by file type, including I-9, general employment, safety, and compliance files.
    • Serve as first point of contact for all employee relations or performance management issues in accordance with HR policies.
    • Facilitate annual open enrollment for company benefit plans as well as timely presentation of benefit plans to all new hires.
    • Administer leave of absence situations (including FMLA, STD, LTD, and WC).
    • Faithfully champion and execute all company and HeartLand Human Resources policies and procedures.
    • Working with HeartLand Human Resources to thoroughly investigate and document and resolve employee complaints
    • Consult with company and operational leadership on employee performance concerns, including recommending and administering development plans or termination when needed.
    • Conduct exit interviews and share documentation with Company President and HeartLand Human Resources

    • Preferably have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
    • At least three years progressive experience across all Human Resources disciplines preferred.
