Employment Law team in Fergus Falls, MN. The firm fosters a collegial and stimulating environment, offering a challenging but rewarding career path.Duties:Consult with clients to understand the specifics and merits of each case.Conduct legal research using legislation, case law, and other legal resources to develop case strategies.Draft legal documents, including contracts, reports, and appeals.Represent clients at meetings, hearings, and legal proceedings.Stay updated on relevant legislation and legal developments affecting labor and employment law.Handle complex labor and employment matters, including collective bargaining agreements, workplace misconduct, and employee separations.Provide human resources support and guidance to public entities on employment issues.Perform other legal tasks as assigned by partners.Requirements:Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to take initiative and work independently while also collaborating within a team.Meticulous attention to detail and a solid understanding of labor and employment law.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota, or the ability to obtain licensure promptly.Skills:Proficient in legal research, writing, and drafting.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex legal documents.Exceptional interpersonal and client communication skills.Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines effectively.Job Location:Fergus Falls, MN (In-office position).Benefits:Competitive salary, commensurate with education and experience.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for professional development and growth.Standard full-time work schedule, Monday to Friday (8:00 am – 4:30 pm).Travel to and from client locations as required.
