Energy Dispatch Director directs the real-time operations of energy dispatch centers. Responsible for ongoing transmission and distribution of energy. Being an Energy Dispatch Director aware of generation expectations and is responsible for minimizing risk and maximizing efficiency and economy. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Energy Dispatch Director demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Typically reports to a top management. The Energy Dispatch Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Job Summary:
Responsible for collecting oil well production data, reporting production to the Texas Railroad Commission and distribution of production data to company personnel and well partners.
Primary Duties:
· File Department of Energy Monthly Crude Oil survey.
· Distribute production volumes to Company management and personnel.
· Maintain oil and gas well files.
· Report monthly well summaries.
· Add new wells into Production Explorer.
· Prepare drill schedule and rig line for weekly management meetings.
· Update and maintain oil well drilling reports.
Working Conditions:
· Prolonged use of personal computer required.
· Standard 8-5 in office workweek.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor's Degree in Business
· Two (2) years experience as a Production Analyst
· Valid State Driver's License
· Proficient in Microsoft Excell
Preferred Skills:
· Ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing with members at all levels throughout the organization and outside professionals.
· General knowledge of oil and gas operations.
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to work within stringent deadlines.
· Proficient in HIS Field Direct Production Explorer or similar oil and gas production program.
· Proficient on Microsoft Office tools.
