How You’ll Make an Impact

• Following a Go Decision by the relevant Sales responsible, the Tender Manager gets involved early in the development of a project to support the implementation of strategic aspects which are important for the later bidding process. Upon issuance of the RFQ and receipt of the Bid Decision are fully responsible for the timely and complete creation of driven bid pricing and documentation. Collaboration with Sales and Business Development during the pre-bid stage incl. price development and leading the consolidation of the project costs.
• Facilitation of pre-bid qualification and budget offers
• Analysis of tender documents and consolidation of tender documentation for the customers
• Responsible for coordinating and driving a multi-disciplined, multi-national tendering or execution team to build necessary bid inputs and documentation on time and to the highest quality possible.
• Identifying and engaging in creative solutions and cost reduction strategies to put forth the most compelling offer possible.
• Risk Analysis at the tender stage
• Preparation and presentation of relevant management approval documents
• Support of win-loss analysis together with Sales and Business Development
• Complete the project as part of the global project delivery team.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering required, or comparable combination of education and work experience.
• More than five years of experience in Bid Management, Project Management or Sales in the field of Battery Energy Storage or Power Transmission and Distribution
• Experience in project acquisition, tendering and project execution process.
• Knowledge about compliance/ rules and regulations
• Experience of functional management and coaching of teams
• Ability to work in an intercultural environment with international teams and different company cultures.
