Home Energy Experts specializes in improving the energy efficiency of homes. We are a preferred contractor with utility companies across the Western United States. We implement energy audits, corrective actions and assist in incentive qualifications for homeowners. We hire and train employees to implement home performance best practices to obtain energy efficiency in the home.

JOB TYPE : Full-time

HOME ENERGY AUDITOR / TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

• Learn and understand the current and new applications of energy efficiency improvements related to home performance and the thermal and air barriers of the home.
• Reiterate your understanding of the benefits of energy efficiency improvements to the homeowner
• Manage and oversee a team in facilitating the home's energy improvements and best practices on a daily basis.

TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Successfully interact with customers
• Gather and accurately record customer audit information
• Prepare and explain the energy improvement savings audit results
• Confirm the energy improvements were installed properly
• Record and report daily and weekly production and energy savings
• Ensure the home qualifies for any possible utility incentive
• Manage a team of two employees
• Promote positive morale within your team
• Mange daily production
• Track and report material consumption and inventory
• Responsible for operation and preventative maintenance of your assigned truck
• Successfully work and communicate with your assigned sales executive
• Travel within Yakima Valley in company truck*
• QUALIFICATIONS
• Understand written instructions and general policy statements
• Must be able to communicate in English ( English/Spanish Bilingual skills is a plus but not a requirement)
• Familiar with iOS system on iPad*
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
• May be required to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
• Work indoors and outdoors in a wide of variety of environmental conditions
• Will be required to problem solve and troubleshoot leaks in the duct system of the homes
• Will be required to accurately operate a manometer and blower door system

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :BENIFITS :

• Management Skills, Customer Service Experience: 1 year
• Required license or certification: Driver's License, Clean Record
• Required education: High school or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,067.58 - $75,070.63 per year
