Energy Dispatcher, Sr. jobs in Longview, TX

We are currently looking for an experienced freight dispatcher/logistics coordinator. Only candidates with prior dispatch/logistics experience need apply. Candidates must have flatbed, OTR, and/or heavy haul dispatching experience. Must be able to search for freight as well as handle customer direct freight. Will be responsible for managing five to eight (5 to 8) trucks/drivers at any particular time. Must be able to answer the phone after hours and on the weekends (company phone provided).

Starting pay is $750.00 per week plus 1.5% of all freight booked.

• Knowledge of flatbed, OTR, heavy-haul trucking and/or transportation.
• Computer literate, able to email, fax, scan, copy, and familiar with Word and Excel, Google Sheets.
• Experience with online load boards such as but no limited to: DAT, 1-2-3 Loadboard, Truckstop.com, Trucker's Edge, etc.
• Able to manage the TMS software for keeping with loads, revenue, trucks, drivers, etc.
• Able to answer phone calls after hours.
• Must provide weekly revenue reports, liaise with Sales Department on potential new customers, rates, availability, etc.
• Oversee the maintenance program: coordinate between drivers and service department.
