Our Employee-Owned Organization is on the hunt for a Regional Fleet Manager to join our team! The Regional Fleet Manager at Rhoads Energy will ensure our 100 vehicle fleet is running smoothly!

Responsibilities:

• Possess and maintain valid CDL with Hazmat to transport vehicles to/from garages as well as from initial purchase locations.
• Manage vehicle registrations, inspections and placarding.
• Approve repair/purchase invoices and code to the correct cost center.
• Serve as point of contact for employee vehicle issues (coordinating with managers).
• Serve as point of contact for Insurance company where fleet repairs/evaluations are concerned.
• Perform quarterly supply checks for all vans and delivery trucks.
• Create and communicate vehicle replacement plan.
• Recommend plan on current fleet replacement vehicles.
• Arrange sale of vehicles
• Maintain relationships with various auto shop vendors, towing providers, etc.…
• Provide guidance and training to drivers on general maintenance/upkeep work like changing tires, oil changes, bulbs, and topping fluids.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate vehicle transfers with drivers and Driver Management
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, maintenance, and expenses.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in fleet management.

Qualifications:

• Current CDL with Hazmat
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fleet management.
• Prior experience in diesel truck maintenance.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
