Energy Manager monitors the organization's energy usage. Develops and implements practices and procedures designed to reduce energy consumption and/or improve efficiency of usage. Being an Energy Manager prepares annual budgets associated with conservation programs. May research alternative/renewable energy technologies and determine their feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, Energy Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Energy Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Job Description
Reports to: Head of Project Management
FLSA Status: Exempt
The Project Manager Renewable Energy (RE) will be primarily focused on the project planning, execution, and reporting of both development and product upgrade projects for the Renewable Energy business segment. The Project Manager RE will be the principal authority for project timeline, milestone definition, progress tracking and customer notifications via Field Sales Engineers (FSE), Product Management, and Business Development Managers (BDM). The project Manager will work across multiple departments to plan Projects, develop scope/budget/timelines, and track/execute the project plan through regular meetings and reporting cycles. The Project Manager RE’s performance will be judged by how well they keep their projects on scope, on time, and on budget, as well as how they handle getting projects back on track when things go wrong or unforeseen issues arise.
The Product Manager RE will have the challenge of interfacing with RE-dedicated resources, such as Engineering and Sales, as well as matrix-allocated resources such as Quality and Operations. The Product Manager RE will report directly to the Head of Project Management for North America.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must:
A college Bachelor’s degree of Science, ideally in Engineering or a Technology discipline.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
3 years’ experience in Project Management and running project plans.
Experience in the Renewable Energy business segment is a plus
Experience with products involving regulatory requirements, injection molding, and/or metal stamping is a plus
Minimal travel for training and/or educational purposes
