Energy Representative is responsible for providing energy efficiency advice to customers. Develops, communicates, and monitors programs related to energy efficiency, sustainability, waste management, and environmental impact. Being an Energy Representative develops and distributes educational material; evaluates and recommends alternatives to existing systems or processes. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Energy Representative typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be an Energy Representative typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Responsibilities include overseeing the operations of gas stations and convenience stores owned and leased by employer. Geographic Territory includes Ocala area and nearby cities. Make regular site visits and interact with site owners, dealers, managers, and employees to insure Brand and Lease standards are being met. Recognize and evaluate maintenance issues and make contacts as needed to insure proper site maintenance. Evaluate competitive marketing activities and make recommendations to maximize fuel and store sales. Address, negotiate and resolve Lease and Contact issues. Actively recruit, retain, and replace site operators to avoid closed locations. Previous experience in the convenience store and gas station industry helpful but not required. Must have reliable transportation (monthly gas allowance available). Proficient computer skills required including word, excel and the ability construct and enter worksheet data and to communicate and write effectively. Maintain a sense of Urgency and Attention to Detail.. College “Associate” degree preferred.
