Part Time Position/$25 per hour
Parent Engagement Coordinator
Roosevelt School
Responsibilities:
-
Communicate regularly with families and teachers about students’ progress, attendance, and other issues that may affect learning
- Conduct outreach to parents about school programs, policies, and procedures
- Report any concerns about children’s welfare or safety to the appropriate authorities
- Maintain records of family contact information and schedules
- Work with staff members to develop strategies for increasing parent involvement in the school community
- Assist with community outreach projects to help parents become more involved with their children’s education
- Assist in coordinating parent involvement activities such as volunteering at school events or attending parent teacher conferences
Requirements:

Strong communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Computer proficient
- Ability to work independently as well as a team member
